The mission of NCCS is to “Grow in Christ-like Service, Academics, and Character.” Since 2003, NCCS has been committed to helping students grow in both faith and academic excellence. We believe education is more than instruction—it is about equipping students to navigate an ever-changing world through in-class, relationship-based learning. We view this work as a ministry.
Even if you do not have students enrolled at NCCS, you are invited to partner with us in this ministry. There are three areas in which you can support our work through donations. All donations over $25 are tax-deductible and will receive a tax receipt.
- Tuition Relief
While we try to keep NCCS tuition fees as low as possible, we do not want cost to be a barrier to accessing Christian education. We recognize that families are facing high inflation, rising living expenses, and increasing financial pressures. Donations help offset per-student tuition and are pooled to provide Tuition Relief for families who apply. Priority for Tuition Relief is given to families with multiple students enrolled in our school and is based on families applying to the Tuition Relief program and verifying the need for financial support.
- Facility Improvements
Nelson Christian School Society owns a multi-use facility on Johnstone Road in Nelson, B.C. It houses NCCS’s K–9 brick-and-mortar programs, CHEK ABC’s blended learning classes, the Librarium, and administrative offices. As an older facility constructed in the 1960s, it requires ongoing upgrades and improvements. Donations help fund these upgrades, enhancing the learning environment for students and the working environment for our staff.
All financial donations higher than $25 qualify for a tax receipt. Receipts will be mailed to the donor.
