Grade 7 and 8 January Blog
The grade seven and eights are in January. Great to have everyone back after a well-deserved two week holiday break.
What a great class of people. One of the best parts of observing these young men and women is to see them grow in character in the span of ten months. We are four months into the school year and I have witnessed acts of kindness, personal growth, and vulnerability (otherwise known as strength). It is said we impress people with our strengths, but we connect in our weakness.
As a team in 2018, students will continue to pursue academic excellence. Their thinking will be challenged in all the academic areas. The level of critical thinking and problem solving about the world around them and the world they walk in personally will continue. God has given us a brain to use, and we will honor him with it.
Here love is the story title, to serve others is the theme, and putting it to use is our plot-line. Parents, please pray for us everyday, and come by the classroom to say hello! We would love to meet you and hear about what you do for a living and what you have learned about being a Christian. As parents, you are the real teachers, so come on by and share a little. A little goes along way!
