Grade 7 and 8 in October
October! What a month it has been.
There has been a lot of growth in the classroom. As new dynamics and ideas begin to take shape this month, the students and I have navigated the ins and outs of learning to live in a 32 by 20 room.
Character growth is important at NCCS and we are putting our individual characters into this space where God is leading us everyday. The word of God teaches us that, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." We are sharpening each other.
I enjoy see the students working hard everyday, whether short story writing in English, working in groups in Mathematics, or building skyscrapers in Art class.
Everyday, I see a group of 18 amazing young people. I can see the potential in everyone and pray they see it in themselves as well.
To the parents I send out a very big thank you for bringing into this school students that are both unique and interesting as people, as learners and most importantly as believers. You are the foundation of love they bring to school everyday. As you continue to raise them, pray for the staff and leaders in this school. Together, as brothers and sisters of the same faith, we can plant precious seeds in the hearts of your children. Thank you for your support, for your encouragement, insight and prayer. As teachers we can not do this without you.
